Beginning as an associate in the New York office of a large law firm, Charles practiced project, leveraged, and structured finance, representing private equity firms, commercial banks, and development institutions. He has since served as general counsel of his family-owned wine bar and restaurant, advised managers of venture capital funds in issues of limited partnership, and counseled in over a million in acquisitions.
